YOUR INFORMATION & YOUR CHOICES
Privacy & communication
Account notice · Version 2026-09
What your account stores
SETCMS stores your name, username, email address, hashed password, optional profile details and conference or organization role assignments. Security records include account events, device information, IP addresses and session activity.
Why this information is used
Account information enables sign-in, identity verification, password recovery and permission-controlled access. Security records support abuse detection, session management and auditing. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes.
Communication choices
Verification, recovery and essential security messages are necessary for your account. Product updates and optional organization and conference announcements are off by default and separately controlled in your communication preferences. Consent changes are recorded with a date and notice version.
Public information and saved programs
Conference organizers can authorize publication of speaker profiles, accepted-paper titles and author names, and scientific programs. A document verification link reveals the issuer's recorded status, checksum and any public recipient name to people who have that link. Optional document comparison runs on your device without uploading your file.
If you choose to save a public program, a copy of its published schedule and names stays on that device for up to 24 hours. Private manuscripts, account pages and meeting links are not included. Use Saved programs to remove these copies, especially on a shared device. Offline copies cannot receive publication changes until the device reconnects or the copy expires.
Account closure
You can deactivate your account or submit a deletion request from Account security after confirming your identity. Both disable sign-in and revoke sessions. A deletion request is reviewed by the platform operator; it is not a promise of immediate removal of audit records or information that must be retained.
Your choices remain accessible
Use Profile to update professional details, Preferences to change optional communication choices, and Security to inspect sessions and request account closure.
